This is a series of portraits of refugees and asylum seekers. I took these portraits at the HQ of The Bike Project which donates bikes for free to Refugees and Asylum seekers. It makes a huge difference in enabling the people to get around London and empower themselves. Assistance given to Refugees is only around £20 a week which you can imagine is quickly gone if using Londons public transport system. The people I photographed are from all over the world from Syria, Africa, Albania and Vietnam. The is an ongoing project and I’m recording short interviews with the subject so that I can include their stories with the portraits
